Victory Sports Coaches Clinic Print E-mail

We are happy to announce that Victory Sports coaches will be attending a coaching clinic as the season approaches with Women's Senior National Team Head coach Allison McNeil. We are sure this will benefit our staff this season in giving our students a positive learning experience. The clinic will be at our regular practice facility at Burnaby Central on Sept 20th.

Allison McNeill – Canadian Senior Women’s National Team

One of most passionate and dedicated coaches in Canada she has been the Head Coach of the Canadian Women’s National Team since 2001.  In 2006, she led Canada to their first FIBA World Championships in 12 years where Canada placed 10th.  From 2001-2004 McNeill was the Associate Head Coach at the University of Oregon and helped lead the Ducks to a WNIT title and the 2nd Round of the NCAA tournament in 2004 before falling to eventual champion Baylor.  Prior to Oregon, McNeill led Simon Fraser University to remarkable success in the NAIA.  In her last four years at SFU, McNeill led the Clan to four straight appearances in the NAIA Final Four including two straight championship games.  Her overall record at SFU was a remarkable 365-85.
