Victory Sports Camps Support Proposal
Dave arrived in Vancouver in 2000 at the invitation of a local company in the technology industry via Phoenix Arizona. After mergers and downsizing in 2005 left Dave looking for a new path, the long held dream of Victory Sports Camps was born.
For 30 years, Dave has been involved in basketball as a player, coach and referee. No matter where he resided or where he traveled, Dave always found himself drawn to the gym, and to a sport that has driven him to play, study, and teach.
Dave has a unique perspective when it comes to coaching. His long held belief is that most coaches shirk the responsibility they have with our kids by focusing on wins and losses and not delivering the important life lessons embedded in sport. A majority of today's youth will never compete at a higher level, but they can still benefit and need to learn these lessons to allow them to prepare and compete in their everyday lives and toward reaching their goals.
Victory Sports Camps is an attempt to merge this long held belief. Over the years Dave has seen the impact of poor programs on our youth and is proud to be a role model and mentor. So in 2005, Dave launched Victory Sports Camps because he intends to make a difference in the lives of the youths who are in transition, need guidance, direction and confidence. Victory Sports Camps is always looking for community-based sponsors to help with the development and implementation of the Victory Sports Camps concept.
Your sponsorship dollars will allow us to reduce cost per camper, and award Balloholic scholarships to kids who are less fortunate. Along with financial support, we are looking for moral support and volunteers.
By partnering with Victory Sports Camps you will be acknowledged on our website, on Balloholic tee shirts, Victory Sports Camps signage, and we will update all sponsors on the progress of the programs through our quarterly email newsletter.
Thanks for your Time.
