Note: Steve Nash Youth Basketball will be going with another new issue of reversible tops next season made by Nike. Next season registration will also include issue of basketballs to our registrants. Please note this is a Basketball BC issue and not a VSC program addition.

These sessions will focus on giving the players training in the fundamentals of the game and lots of positive reinforcement and maintaining a good level of fun for the kids at every practice. Steve Nash drills and practice plans will be used to structure practices. 

We strive to maintain a high level of instruction and combine the philosophy of Victory Sports Camps. All coaches are NCCP certified.

Grades 4/5 

Grades 4/5 will practice once a week at elementary schools in Burnaby with the proper height rims.

U13 Metro League

Boys 6/7 Elite

If you think you have the ability to play in the Metro league and would like to test your skills here is your chance.

The criteria for joining the league is as follows:

• -All players MUST be Basketball BC members
• -All coaches MUST be Basketball BC members
• -Players will be 12 years old (or under) on Dec. 31/08 or in their first year of Grade 7 (or earlier grade) in September/08

Practices and game locations will vary. Cost to register for tryout is $25.00 for Non Members. If selected there will be a registration fee for the Metro team over the regular Steve Nash registration fee. There will be 12 places on this team.

If the team is successful in this league it may lead to summer tournaments for this group. Victory Sports will contribute to travel cost to summer tournaments as a bonus.

There is no charge to register for the tryout if you are already registered for Steve Nash Youth Basketball with Victory Sports in the fall. Just click on the Member Registration if you wish to try out for this team also.
