Balloholic Fundamentals

We are happy to announce that the top teams for boys and girls in the U12/U13 age group will join the Metro League next fall. We will add a separate practice for the boys Gold team and this will give boys in this age group 3 days of basketball weekly ( Friday/Sat/Sun) . If you are interested in playing Metro League basketball this is a great opportunity. We know there are many boys who can play but just don't have the chance. Balloholics will create more spots for boys who are keen basketball players. Metro League games for boys are on Sundays at the Langley Events Center. There will be a Metro League charge for boys making the team.

Fees include the issue of shirt , insurance and membership. You will need to bring your own basketball to classes. Custom balls may be purchased from VSC at registration or at class in the fall.

Grades 6/7 U12 / U13

U12/U13 boys will practice once and play once per week in the Balloholic League on Saturday @ Burnaby Central. Boys selected to the Gold team will play on Sunday in the Metro League at the Langley Events Center.

Burnaby Central Secondary

Fall Session Boys 6/7

Location: 4939 Canada Way (MAP)

Day 1: Friday : 6:00- 7:15pm

Day 2: Saturday 12:00 or 1:00pm @ Burnaby Central depending on game time.

Start Date: October 1st - December 3rd.

FEES: $145.00

Edmonds Community

Fall Session Boys 6/7 U12/ U13

Day 1: Wednesday : 6:00- 7:15pm

Day 2: Saturday 12:00 or 1:00pm @ Burnaby Central depending on game time.

Start Date: October 6 - December 8th.

FEES: $145.00

GIRLS U12 / U13

Girls Metro team will practice on Fridays and play on Saturdays in the Metro League at the Langley Events Center.

We will have a second team of girls who will practice at Gilpin Elementary and play in the SBMC league at Bonsor on Saturdays.

U12/U13 Girls: we will have 2 teams of 14 players max. If you are beginner player you should register at the Gilpin location. If you have played basketball before and think you are up to the challenge of the Metro League you can register at Burnaby Central for Friday practice. If you need to be accessed we can help with that also. Possibly by coming out to summer camp for day or week.

If there is a great deal of interest in either of the girls classes it will force the session into a tryout. We would like to field as strong a team as possible in the Metro League.
