CoachesWe are looking for 2 coaches who would like to assist with our Steve Nash Youth Basketball Program at the 4/5 level. The growth of the program is dependant on the availability of coaches who are willing to spend their time for a very rewarding experience.
Full training from Basketball BC is provided to our coaches, fall clinics, manual's, full support is in place to assist you to be a solid coach. There are two 9-week sessions during the school year. If you are interested in working with our teams either as a head coach or assistant coach please send us an e-mail or give us a call, someone will contact you shortly. Head coaching positions include an honorarium to cover expenses.
Partner Program2009 Summer Sports Camps: If you are an experienced coach in BC in ANY sport and would like to extend the reach of our program by delivering our message to a camp you would lead. Please contact us for details on how we can partner to provide a great experience in your area. Our program is not limited to basketball but applies to all sports. It's simple and easy to deliver and takes only a small part of the total time allotted to activities. All the tools of our site, gear, logos will be at your disposal and the majority of the fees stay in your program.
VolunteersIf you would like to volunteer your time in an off court capacity such as score keeping, refereeing games, scheduling or organizing please send us an e-mail or call and someone will contact you shortly. We will be organizing a number of different programs throughout the year and we are always on the lookout for helping hands with our mission.
